aviation manager, entrepreneur, Prague 8 councillor

Václav Stránský (48) is a manager with over twenty years' experience in international aviation and an entrepreneur. As a Prague 8 councillor he helped win safer pedestrian crossings, better safety at Palmovka and more responsible management of public property.

MVDr. Bc. Vladislava Vojtíšková (39 years old)

editor-in-chief and Prague 8 councillor

MVDr. Bc. Vladislava Vojtíšková (39) is editor-in-chief of Vědavýzkum.cz. As a Prague 8 councillor she helped keep the German-Czech understanding primary school open and set up cycle shelters at schools. She runs a competition for the finest floral display in Prague 8.

Michal Trník

Michal Trník (44 years old)

investment banker and Prague 8 councillor

Michal Trník (44) chairs the association Holešovičky pro lidi. With his neighbours he looks after the Hercovka and Dlážděnka parks himself. As a Prague 8 councillor he fights for putting V Holešovičkách in a tunnel and against unchecked development. He is an investment banker.

project manager in education, Prague 8 councillor

PhDr. Barbora Musilová (43) co-founded the forest club Libeň Monsters and leads a hiking group at Sokol Libeň. She works as a project manager at the Association for Elementary Outdoor Education. As a Prague 8 councillor she pushed for childcare groups to be set up.

Ing. arch. Tomáš Musil (33 years old)

architect and urban planner

Ing. arch. Tomáš Musil (33) works as a lead architect. He represents 8žije on the town hall committees for urban development and for building the Rohan primary school, promoting expertise and professionalism. He comes from Čimice and wrote his thesis on the urban design of its centre.

MUDr. Jana Pavlíčková, Ph.D.

MUDr. Jana Pavlíčková, Ph.D. (44 years old)

neurologist, assistant professor at 1. LF UK

MUDr. Jana Pavlíčková, Ph.D. (44) is a neurologist at the General University Hospital and teaches at the 1st Faculty of Medicine, Charles University. She is a yoga instructor in Prague 8 and an endurance runner. She regularly holds neighbourhood events in the Čumpelíkova courtyard.

MgA. Matouš Bičák (31) teaches at Gymnázium Přírodní škola, is a film director and has experience in project management. He has long worked on public space and sustainable urban development. He lives in Kobylisy and represents the Greens on the candidate list.

Ilona Tůmová, DiS. (60) works at the specialist publisher Portál and organises neighbourhood events in Libeň. She chairs the 8žije council group; last term she ran the fund for poor families, to which 8žije councillors sent part of their allowances.

MgA. Matěj Strnad (37) is head of curators at the National Film Archive. He spent eight years at grammar school in Libeň and the last ten living in Ládví and Kobylisy. He has two children and wants them to grow up in a safe, kind city. He is a member of the Culture group at Praha sobě.

Ing. Ondřej Buršík, MPA

Ing. Ondřej Buršík, MPA (33 years old)

nuclear engineer and Prague 8 councillor

Ing. Ondřej Buršík, MPA (33) led the Bohnice scouts for years and pushed through a new clubhouse. As a Prague 8 councillor he works on safety. He runs the Spring Challenge, in which residents report potholes in the roads. He leads a research team at the HiLASE laser centre.

RNDr. Dana Blahunková (55) is a mathematician and teacher and a former Sokol Libeň instructor. As a Prague 8 councillor she works on schools and culture. In 2014-2018, as a Green councillor, she introduced a grant scheme for cultural projects and public space improvements.

Mgr. et Mgr. Tomáš Němeček (53 years old)

Mgr. et Mgr. Tomáš Němeček (53) worked as a journalist (Respekt, HN, LN), then as a lawyer, and is now an advocate. As a Prague 8 councillor he focuses on finances: he made the town hall tender its green space maintenance contracts, saving over CZK 120 million.

Bc. Josef Chamula (32) bridges the worlds of education and social work; he won the Social Worker of the Year 2022 award. He is a deputy head of a primary school and, as a trainer, works on preventing risky behaviour and supporting a healthy climate in schools.

sustainable development and strategic planning expert

Aneta Parsonsová, Ph.D. (38) is an expert in sustainable development and strategic planning. Her experience with strategies and public policies means she knows how to turn ideas into concrete measures. She lives in Střížkov with her family and represents the Greens on the list.

Mgr. Jan Šimbera, Ph.D. (34) works as a data analyst. As a Prague 8 councillor he focuses on energy and information technology. He is vice-chair of the association Za Invalidovnu! and helped bring about a planning study for the area. He has been a scout leader for years.

Mgr. Kristýna Drápalová (35) is an art historian. As a Prague city councillor (for Praha sobě) she worked to rid the city of visual smog and illegal billboards. In 2024 she exposed a hired former police officer who had been following her because of her activities.

RNDr. Miroslav Frost (42) is a researcher at the Czech Academy of Sciences, working on materials research. He lives in Libeň with his family. In 2022-2026 he served on Prague 8's sport and grant policy committee. He promotes fair rules and transparent decisions at all levels.

  • We have 8 neighbourhood contacts for all the neighbourhoods: Bohnice, Staré Bohnice, Čimice, Kobylisy, Ládví, Holešovičky and Troja, Libeň, Karlín. You can come to them with suggestions about your area. The contact passes the suggestion on to the officials responsible and makes sure that it is resolved. We will prepare a participatory budget so that you can decide by voting what you want to improve in your area. We care about the whole of Prague 8 and about every part of it.
