We do not want to sort out Kobylisy from behind a desk. We are interested in what is seen by the people who live here, walk this way to the metro, take their children to school, park, do sport or move through public space every day.
What we want to talk about
Kobylisy has a number of topics that deserve a clear and open debate.
We will talk about why the town hall often communicates so little with residents and why some local people feel that Kobylisy is on the edge of its interest.
We also want to open up the future of Albert and of local amenities at Sokolníky. We are interested in the investor's intentions and in how the district can influence the shape of a place that matters to local people every day.
We will also deal with the planned link between Pohnertova and Maškova streets, new development in the area, the protection of green space, the state of public space, cleaning around the metro and traffic, which already breaks down in a number of places.
Public space, schools and culture
Kobylisy is not just a transport hub or a housing estate around the metro. It is also schools, nurseries, cultural centres, sports grounds, green space, places to meet and the everyday life of several generations.
That is why we are also interested in how the local nurseries and schools work, what their capacity and quality are, and what is happening with culture, art in public space, leisure activities and support for sport.
Public space in Kobylisy deserves more than basic upkeep. It needs long-term care, clear priorities and practical solutions.
